Blechexpo 2021: Lively attendance at the Metallkraft and Schweißkraft booths

After a long break from trade fairs, Stürmer Maschinen was represented with three exhibition stands at Blechexpo 2021 in Stuttgart. In addition to bending, cutting and grinding technologies, the machine wholesaler presented its extensive range of metal saws as well as innovative welding solutions. All three stands met with lively visitor interest and were the focus of intensive technical discussions with both existing customers and new customer contacts, who were now able to experience the machines live and up close again.

Personal experience and on-site consultations

It was noticeable among the international visitors that they were longing for a personal exchange and direct advice on the machines on site. Especially with high investment sums, it still seems to be of great importance to be able to see, touch and try out the machines live. The personal experience of the machines, which in the past 1.5 years could only be realised to a limited extent through online events, was therefore the focus of visitor interest. 

Bending / cutting technologies and automated welding solutions

Numerous visitors came to the METALLKRAFT and SCHWEIßKRAFT exhibition stands with specific requirements and questions and asked for further information on their specific needs. The press brakes and sheet metal shears were particularly popular, as due to their size alone they could be experienced live in a completely different way than in virtual space. In intensive consultations, the METALLKRAFT experts were able to explain the diverse equipment options of the bending and cutting technologies to the visitors directly at the machines. At the metal saws stand, the technical advisors also had their hands full, as all the models presented - whether manual, semi-automatic or fully automatic - were in great demand. But the Easy Arc welding robotfrom SCHWEIßKRAFT was also a visitor magnet and met with great interest not only because of the desire for automated welding solutions but also because of the acute shortage of skilled workers in the industry. A very special highlight were the Vario Protect welding helmets, which with their true color display provide more visibility and therefore presented a completely new welding experience to the visitors.

With top technologies in sheet metal and metal processing, Blechexpo 2021 once again attracted numerous visitors from Germany and abroad. The METALLKRAFT and SCHWEIßKRAFT stands were not only bustling with visitors, but many fruitful discussions were also held, ideas exchanged, new contacts made and orders generated directly on site. Stürmer Maschinen will again use the next trade fair duo Blechexpo/Schweißtec in 2023 to present new concepts and technologies in the fields of bending and cutting technology as well as welding technology.
