Band saw product test: OPTIsaw SP 13V convinces all along the line

The product testers of the "Gipfelholz" advice platform closely examined the OPTIsaw SP 13V miter band saw in a practical test. The focus was on the workmanship as well as the user-friendliness and the precision of the machine with the result: The OPTIsaw SP 13V from OPTIMUM is at the forefront in all test points.

The testers praised not only the extremely quiet operation, but above all the machine's high level of user-friendliness. In particular, the integrated spring, which enables the miter band saw to be raised automatically, provided excitement. But the angle adjustment from 0 to 60° also caught the eye, as such a wide range of settings is rarely found in this price segment. The machine also impressed with its massive cast iron vice, which can be easily rotated and adjusted.

The wow-effect came when the testers switched on the machine and mitered an aluminum pipe: "This is really perfect! We don't even have a millimeter of air there. You could weld this right now without any problem," one of the testers commented enthusiastically. In addition to its extremely precise operation, the band saw also impressed with its ease of use. For example, the stop angle can be conveniently attached via an easily accessible threaded hole on the side of the machine without having to lift or turn the machine for this purpose.
